You’ve got to be on top of your game to make savings like these
The Swans are important to the people of Swansea: the 20,000 plus fans who come to the Liberty Stadium and the schools and community groups we work with. So, it makes sense to manage the club’s utilities as sustainably as possible – to ensure a bright future off the field as well as on it! So, yes, we renegotiated Swansea’s energy contracts and that had a really positive impact on the club’s bottom line. But, because we’re energy saving experts we wanted to take them into the environmental Premier League too!
Efficiency projects delivering a projected 151% ROI
The Liberty Stadium, home of Swansea City A.F.C. is a modern facility built in 2005, so, you’d expect it to be relatively up to date in its management and consumption of utilities. The Energy Check consultant engineers’ utilities audit proved just how far energy and water efficiency technology has moved forward since 2005. The energy and water efficiency project plan they produced showed significant savings in cost and consumption in heating, lighting and even how the pitch is irrigated! As well as being good for the environment, the plan put forward by The Energy Check projects the ROI of the efficiency measures at 151% over a ten year period. And best of all the engineers noted that by changing how certain things are done further savings of up to 15% can be made – without spending a penny!
